It's made by heating two or more panes of transparent flat glass and then pressing them together under high pressure with a metal tool called a "form tool." This process creates a strong bond between the panes, which makes it difficult to break apart.
This type of glass is often used in buildings where there are large expanses of windows, such as shopping malls or office buildings.
